Under general supervision, the Staff RN provides direct nursing care according to established policies and procedures. In collaboration with patients, families, and the health care team, the RN assesses patient needs, plans interventions, and evaluates outcomes of care. The RN may also supervise non‑licensed nursing staff and assume charge nurse responsibilities when assigned. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position. Couplet Care experience required. Current RN license in the State of Texas or a compact license. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider card. If hired after 1/1/21, NRP required within 3 months of hire or transfer. STABLE within 18 months of hire; renewal not required. Must have recent Mom Baby experience in a Hospital Setting. Benefits
