Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Litigation Paralegal focused on Medical Malpractice to join our esteemed legal team. This role requires strong legal research, case management, and trial preparation skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and with large workloads.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and trial materials.
Identify, organize, and analyze case‑related documents and information systematically.
Coordinate and manage calendars, including depositions, witness meetings, and client meetings.
Assist attorneys in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with witness preparation, and attending trials when necessary.
Liaise with medical experts, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Conduct legal research.
Maintain case management system by updating with relevant information, documents, and correspondence.
Qualifications
Plaintiff‑side litigation, preferably in medical malpractice.
Proficient in discovery processes and trial preparation.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical malpractice law, and procedures.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Candidates with trial experience will receive strong consideration.
