Retail Display Installer – Electronics – Part Time
Join ActionLink as a Part‑Time Retail Merchandiser for Houston, TX 77095 and the surrounding area. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting promotional displays in major retail stores.
Responsibilities
Complete projects at assigned retail stores within the territory.
Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays.
Submit same‑day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.
Schedule up to 20 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm; no weekends or evenings.
Potential for additional hours when covering larger regions or traveling.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate $17.00 per hour (higher rates for additional technical projects).
W2 employment with bi‑weekly pay and direct deposit.
Optional 401(k) plan with company match.
Travel reimbursement for store‑to‑store mileage.
Paid training to prepare for program success.
Accrued PTO hours every week worked.
Qualifications
Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience highly desirable.
Handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory.
Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
Independent and team‑work oriented; comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed.
Tech‑ready: Internet access, basic hand‑held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update (laptop/desktop access a plus).
Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; required to use vehicle to perform responsibilities.
Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
