Eyetastic Services
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Optometric Technician to join this growing team on a per diem or hourly basis. This is a part‑time, temporary position to cover for a staff member currently on leave, with no confirmed return date. The role is expected to last several months, with the possibility of becoming permanent depending on staffing needs.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in a professional, friendly manner
Obtain and document patient histories and preliminary testing
Perform visual acuity testing, tonometry, and other pre‑exam procedures
Operate and maintain optometric equipment
Assist optometrists during examinations and with procedures as needed
Manage patient flow and assist with administrative duties as required
Maintain sterile and organized workspaces
Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations
About the Position
Position Type: Part‑Time, Temporary (Potential for Permanent)
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation
Competitive hourly wage between $22 and $28, based on experience
