Equipment Technician

Work Shift: Evening Shift Time Type: Full time Department: CC013030 Nurse Resource Pool Summary: Nurse Resource Pool, Full Time, 11a-11p Additional Information: The Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner. Other job responsibilities may include Point of Care Testing (POCT), performing preventative maintenance, maintaining stock supplies, and equipment inventory. Required Education: No education requirements Recommended Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent Required Work Experience: Entry Level - Experience not Required. Recommended Work Experience: Required Certifications: Recommended Certifications: Description Decontaminates, cleans, and reprocesses equipment. Assists with maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly patient/department environment which is in compliance with infection control, safety, OSHA, and other regulatory processes. Practices optimal infection control processes both in patient contact and equipment cleaning/maintenance. Ensures that supplies, equipment and instrumentation are available. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and collaborate with HTM. Completes special assignments within designated time frames. Performs other duties as assigned.
