Line Maintenance Mechanic

This position is located in Henderson, NV. The Line Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for operation, maintenance, improvement, and repair of equipment to support the delivery of plant KPIs – Safety, Quality, Output, & Cost. They will follow the established WCM standards of production delivery to drive continuous improvement within a semi‑autonomous environment.
Responsibilities
Plan, carry out and review focused improvement activities to eliminate losses and prevent recurrence.
Plan, operate and carry out autonomous activities within the production areas.
Operate and conduct changeovers on equipment.
Operate pallet jack with certification training.
Support design and implement improvements to material flow, ergonomics, accessibility and safety.
Train and develop self and others in safety skills and knowledge, contributing to continuous improvement of safety performance through risk analysis and minimization.
Reduce costs due to waste and minimise impact to health, safety and the environment by eliminating waste and managing waste materials correctly.
Promote development of a highly effective team through encouraging interpersonal skills, leading by example, building rapport, and managing conflict while keeping focused on goals and targets.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills including PC programmes, Windows, SAP.
Ability to perform correct calculations necessary for productivity.
Analytical, problem‑solving and coaching abilities.
