Job Description Security Officer – Bank Campus Patrol

Ruston, LA
You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. As a part‑time security officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Monthly Pay Pay Rate:
$13.00 / Hour
Job Schedule
Saturday 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
Sunday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location.
Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or law enforcement as necessary.
Document incidents and complete required reports according to Allied Universal guidelines.
Follow all instructions and protocols specific to the financial institution environment.
Minimum Requirements
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
