Responsibilities

Plan and manage successfully relocations.

Ensure client satisfaction throughout the relocation management process.

Develop and implement relocation project plan, schedule and budget through collaboration with the facility, project and construction managers and adhere to it.

Maintain project schedules.

Coordinating strategic planning for moves, adds, and/or changes. Delivers budgetary forecasting.

May create, modify and maintain AutoCAD drawings to provide accurate floor plans and occupancy information.

Manage structured cabling design, implementation of the design, support, audit and management of the structured cabling infrastructure.

Provide a single point of contact for all move management activities.

Participate in planning meetings, manage meetings to review move schedules with move vendors and key stakeholders.

Provide weekly management summary reports of engineered, constructed, construction starts planned, completed, etc.

Procure and manage move labor, including vendor/contractor bidding process, evaluate proposals and recommend selection of vendor/contractor.

Manage supporting suppliers (technology, telephony, furniture, etc.).

Triages complaints and routes to appropriate person/department.

Evaluate vendors to ensure compliance with the standards of performance.

Ensure all project initiation, execution and closeout documentation are complete.

Coordinate with various service providers (internal and external) to determine the appropriate date(s) for implementation and communicate those dates.

Plan, schedule and implement relocations, providing the main client contact with scheduled dates, move instructions, and move orientations for large groups as required.

Work with Corporate Realty and IT Business Relations Managers to identify opportunities and tasks with mergers and acquisitions and new builds.

Coordinates with Manager and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project according to defined standards. Complete and ensure all assigned tickets are completed within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Assist in team leadership; assure appropriate staffing levels for events (planned/unplanned).

Maintain and author team documentation.

Obtain quotes from Movers.

Low voltage cabling or internal IT/networking departments.

Willing to travel 50‑75% of the time within the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) Network.

Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

BS or equivalent experience in Project Management, Business Management, IT or other IT/Health field.

Minimum of 4 years Project Management, MAC experience.

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

Demonstrated experience in systems design and management.

Requires leadership skills, judgement, creativity and comprehensive knowledge of the field.

Ability to manage problems, build collaborative relationships and drive strategic direction.

Excellent computer skills in: MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Word.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred

BS in Project Management, Business Management, IT or other IT/Health field.

Minimum of 6 years Project Management, MAC experience.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred

Certified Project Management Professional (CPMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

Compensation Minimum rate of $143,624.00 Annually. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market‑competitive total rewards package.
