June 2026 Leadership Development Program – Facility Operations – Wausau
Pay Range:
$65,700.00 per year – $65,700.00 per year
Program Overview:
The Facilities Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a 12‑month comprehensive program designed to develop participants with classroom, virtual, and on‑the‑job training at a Sherwin‑Williams Performance Coatings Group facility. Upon completion participants may apply for a post‑program promotion to Operations Manager. Relocation will be required for post‑program opportunities.
Location:
8202 Enterprise Dr., Wausau, WI, 54401 – Start date: June 2026
Responsibilities
Complete entry and advanced training aligned with the program curriculum.
Develop business acumen for managing a profit and loss statement.
Ensure compliance with all safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Maintain facility conditions in line with 6‑Sigma standards.
Support employee training, performance management, and corrective action.
Learn and support Facility Operations, Production Planning, and customer service functions.
Assist with daily bank deposits and inventory/warehouse management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualities & Experience
Minimum 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years in manufacturing, distribution, sales, or customer service).
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
Willingness to relocate for the program and upon completion.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or Sales.
At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or operations.
1 year of experience with Sherwin‑Williams Performance Coatings Group Operations.
Experience in a leadership role supervising or leading teams.
Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
