Gulf Coast Social Services is seeking an Office Manager for the Baton Rouge region. The Office Manager provides administrative and clerical support to the Regional Director and Program Management. Assists Regional Director in the management of office and building operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Regional Director with coordination office services including clerical tasks, accounts payable, payroll, bookkeeping, records control, and correspondence.
Supervise clerical staff and manage office assignments and special projects. Serve as backup for all clerical positions and tasks in absence of staff.
Support Program Directors with proposals, grants, budgets, and reporting.
Assist Regional Director and Program Directors with program issues and provide support/resolution for problem areas.
Oversee building maintenance, vendor contracts, and coordination with local and state inspectors. Point of contact for issues in the building and responding to issues when needed.
Attend and organize staff and other office meetings. Serve as scribe and backup support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Services, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in executive support or office management.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient in office equipment and software, with the ability to type 55 WPM.
Strong organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and customer service skills a must.

Pay: $21.63 - $22.60 per hour
