Lead, Behavioral Health (must reside in WI) Provides lead level support for a team delivering integrated behavioral health/chemical dependency services and long‑term care to members with high‑need potential. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team, strives to ensure member progress toward desired outcomes and supports the overarching strategy to provide quality and cost‑effective care.

Responsibilities

Provide behavioral health subject‑matter expertise and support to healthcare services team, local behavioral health departments, community agencies, providers, internal stakeholders, and members as needed.

Facilitate member screening and outreach; collect, interpret, and utilize data to operationalize regulations and collaborate on efforts to increase behavioral health access and share resources.

Consult with healthcare services leadership to devise and implement actions that meet regulatory and best‑practice standards.

Act as a resource to staff, supporting communication and coordination of behavioral health activities.

Resolve barriers to behavioral health access through strategic collaboration.

Assist in behavioral health‑related training of staff per department standards, policies, and procedures.

Collaborate with and keep leadership apprised of behavioral health systems, processes, and program needs.

Generate reports and use data to promote adherence to regulations and access improvements.

Assist care managers and may maintain a caseload for triage and service linkage.

Act as liaison internally and externally on behalf of Molina and healthcare services in relation to behavioral health programs and processes.

Attend and participate in departmental, company‑wide, and external committees, task forces, and work groups as assigned.

Local travel may be required based on state or contractual requirements.

Required Qualifications

At least 4 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW), Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Registered Nurse (RN) license with behavioral health experience; license must be active and unrestricted in the state of practice.

Demonstrated knowledge of community resources.

Proactive and detail‑oriented.

Ability to work in diverse settings and adjust style to meet the needs of varied populations.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate self‑motivation.

Responsive communication skills and ability to remain calm in high‑pressure situations.

Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.

Excellent time‑management, prioritization, multi‑tasking, and adaptability skills.

Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Active and unrestricted licensed professional (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, RN).

Clinical practice experience with a behavioral health entity or managed care organization.

Experience in discharge planning, home health, or transitional care.

Knowledge of National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) requirements related to behavioral health conditions.

Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Telehealth experience.

Experience working with underserved populations facing socioeconomic barriers to healthcare.

Fluency in a second language (bilingual).

Pay Range $29.05 – $56.64 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
