The Planning & Scheduling Engineer owns the
project schedule and progress measurement system , ensuring accurate planning, monitoring, trend analysis, and reporting. The role focuses on schedule integrity, contractor oversight, and early identification of deviations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and control the
overall project schedule
Establish and manage the
progress measurement system
Review contractor schedules for logic, level of detail, interfaces, alignment with WBS and control estimates; analyze and incorporate approved changes into the schedule; identify schedule risks, deviations, and emerging trends.
Advise Project Controls Lead and Project Team on schedule impacts, corrective actions, recovery plans, review and validate contractor progress reporting, monitor Level 3, Level 4 and short‑term look‑ahead schedules, and ensure compliance with company and contract scheduling requirements.

BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
Strong background in
planning & scheduling
within
project controls
Experience with contractor schedule reviews and progress validation
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Ability to manage changing priorities and urgent analysis requests
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
