Job Description Join a dynamic engineering team as a Structural CAD Technician, where you will support the drafting and designing of structural projects. You will work closely with a Lead CAD Drafter and engineers, contributing to a variety of projects ranging from industrial to educational and commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and review drawings according to established standards.
Translate mark-ups into accurate drawings.
Check and plot drawings for accuracy and compliance.
Recommend minor design changes requiring sound judgment and discretion.
Essential Skills
1-5 years of professional AutoCAD Drafting experience in structural, architectural, or vertical construction/facilities design.
Proficiency in Revit.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Direct structural drafting/design experience is highly preferred.
Associate's degree in Design Technology.
Work Environment The firm is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis and offers a standard consulting engineering environment with cubicles and offices. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
