Job Summary
Salary:
$80,000 - $90,000 per year. Type:
Full-Time, Exempt.
Responsibilities
Analyze forecast from the largest Hyper Scale customer to estimate monthly sales and communicate required information with the customer.
Coordinate with multiple production entities to reflect updated forecast into each entity’s production planning and lead discussions on priority changes.
Manage and monitor multiple purchase orders, shipment status, and production status for weekly projects and delivery locations.
Operate D365 ERP to input purchase orders, issue sales orders, split/revise orders, and update stock and delivery information.
Handle BOM, production planning, and labor purchase order transactions for affiliate companies and reconcile finished goods inventory with logistics partners.
Continuously evaluate company systems and processes to identify improvements and participate in system/process improvement projects with the customer.
Interact with internal and external employees, develop and prepare executive/administrative reports, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
Basic understanding of fiber optic cabling, connectorization, and network components.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex production and logistics data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
Proficiency in D365 systems and supply chain software.
Knowledge and experience of quality assurance and control.
Preferable skill: Rich knowledge and experience of VBA, Access, Java and/or other programming tools with actual experience to implement automation of administrative transactions.
Pressure for deadlines – short time frame responses.
Ability to process large amounts of email/chat traffic and summarize problems, questions, and status.
Willingness to work as a team, providing leadership to the department.
Extremely well organized and must demonstrate Project Management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience.
Proven experience within supply chain management, project management, inventory management, or production management.
Position in Organization Reports to Director, DC Connectivity Product Management. Directly supervises: None.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed in an office environment with prolonged sitting, computer use, and occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
Ability to routinely concentrate, focus, and read for general understanding and analytical purposes.
