Senior Claims Representative – Rideshare Commercial Claims Auto Physical Damage Adjuster

Base pay range $46,000 – $84,000 per year
Description At Liberty, you will work in a hybrid environment that blends remote flexibility with in‑person collaboration. This role focuses on reviewing and processing commercial claims within assigned authority limits, ensuring compliance with policy and legal requirements. You will be required to visit the office twice a month if you live within 50 miles of specific locations.
Responsibilities
Investigate claims using internal and external resources, including speaking with the insured and other parties, analyzing reports, researching past claim activity, and using evaluation tools to assess damage and loss.
Maintain direct, timely communication with insureds, claimants, agents, and internal customers.
Determine policy coverage through analysis of investigation data and policy terms, notifying agents and insureds of coverage decisions or issues.
Establish claim reserve requirements and adjust them as necessary during processing.
Determine and negotiate settlement amounts for damages within assigned authority limits.
Write simple to moderately complex property damage estimates or review auto damage estimates.
Take statements when necessary and work with Field Appraisal, Subrogation, and Special Investigative Unit as appropriate.
Maintain accurate claim files and documentation throughout the claim lifecycle to ensure proper tracking and handling.
Alert unit leader to potential fraud or subrogation opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of experience in claims handling; prior commercial claims experience preferred.
Strong customer service and technology skills.
Ability to navigate multiple systems with strong organizational and communication abilities.
License may be required in multiple states by state law.
