Project Manager – Concrete Industry Expertise
You will bring extensive experience to work on heavy industrial projects specializing in the Heavy Industrial Sector (Building Products, Cement, Material Handling, Metals, Minerals and Mining) on projects ranging from small facility modifications to complex EPC contracts. Some travel will be required to make sales visits and meet with clients at project and construction sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in business development to provide advice and solutions to the client’s problems
Assist in development of engineering scope of work and service proposals
Manage multi-discipline engineering teams responsible for scope, schedule and budget
Participate in the planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating detailed phases of engineering projects
Direct preparation drawings and specific type of equipment and materials to be used, in construction and equipment installation.
Develop construction work packages and contractor scope of word documents
Inspects completed installations for conformance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards
Provide on-site start up support

Technical expertise in the Heavy Industrial Sector – proven understanding or expertise of process technologies and industry standards
Process Technology Supplier and OEM Relationships
Experience with Innovation
Comfortable working with integrated designs on large capital projects involving coordination with process technology suppliers for development of mechanical, chemical, civil, and electrical disciplines scope of work
Well organized with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate within budgets and work directly with client engineers, maintenance teams and construction contractors
Capability with CAD systems including AutoCAD is preferred but not required
PE license or EIT certification with the ability to obtain PE license is preferred but not required.
