Responsibilities

The House Supervisor assumes administrative responsibility for the management of all department service functions on their shift.

Make frequent rounds throughout the facility to monitor delivery of care, oversee quality of services, and direct patient care activities as needed.

Supervise, provide support to and communicate with all staff house‑wide.

Extend administrative scope and responsibility to all services within the hospital in the absence of the Hospital Administrative staff.

Ensure efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital.

Perform direct patient care as needed within skill set.

Ensure all temporary agency personnel are deployed and oriented in compliance with hospital policy.

Assist medical staff with scheduling after‑horizon procedures and calling in stand‑by staff members.

Enhance patient/family experience through supportive interactions and explanations of hospital policies.

Qualifications

Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.

Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.

Minimum of three (3) years acute‑care nursing experience.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay Transparency Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package. Total Rewards include paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and many voluntary options. Compensation estimate: $48.65 to $65.48 per hour.
