About The Position Of Automotive Mechanic As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. They perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts and shocks; complete state‑mandated inspections; change oil and filters; check fluids; replace worn parts; and dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires.

Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks).
Complete state‑mandated inspections.
Change oil, filters, and check fluids.
Replace worn parts.
Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and lift items over 50 lbs regularly.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance.
Extensive personal tool box for undercar repairs.
Preferred: State inspection license(s).
Preferred: ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
