Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects (https://www.accenture.com/us-en/services/infrastructure-capital-projects) THE WORK: You'll conduct comprehensive daily inspections of electrical and IT systems across building and terminal construction projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and project specifications, review and interpret construction documents including blueprints and shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.

You'll demonstrate strong proficiency in preparing comprehensive daily inspection reports that clearly document the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and HOW of all observed construction activities, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and accountability in tracking progress and identifying issues, deficiencies, or safety concerns in a timely manner.

You'll verify contractor compliance with local and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70, 70E, 72) and LAWA-specific standards.

You'll track and document time-and-material work, field changes, and job quantities.

You'll assist in validating contractor progress payment requests based on an approved schedule of values.

You'll support special inspections and testing activities, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and third-party agencies as needed.

You'll review and utilize electronic equipment for contract documents efficiently, including change orders, submittals, RFIs, and other inspection documents, with minimal supervision.

You'll perform inspections of electrical installations including, but not limited to:

Underground utilities and duct banks

High-voltage switchgear and electrical panels

Conduit racks, conductors, and grounding systems

Interior and exterior lighting systems

Fire life safety systems including smoke/heat detectors and FM-200 suppression systems

Electrical shutdowns, lockout/tagout procedures, and breaker coordination

You'll inspect IT infrastructure installations such as:

Low-voltage systems (voice/data, security, access control)

Door card readers, security cameras, and public address (P.A.) systems

Communication cabling and equipment rooms

Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. May be required to work various shifts, including day, swing, and night.

$141,203 - $155,324 a year Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED: High school diploma (or equivalent)

Electrical/IT inspection staff shall have at 3 years or more of experience performing electrical/IT inspections; For task on the Airfield, 3 years or more of experience with airfield lighting is required.

Current ICC Certification as a Commercial Electrical Inspector;

Proof of NFPE-70E standards, Completion of training must have been achieved within the last 3 years

30-hour Cal-OSHA training prior to assignment. The 30-hour training will have been received within the last 4 years

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: Experience at the journey-level as an electrician, with a focus on the installation and repair of electrical systems in public works, institutional, commercial, or industrial settings

Experience overseeing and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations on significant construction projects

Involvement in complex projects that require coordination with multiple stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and city officials

Expertise in identifying and addressing deficiencies, ensuring that all aspects of construction meet the required standards.
