Accountant - Financial Manager Track

Overview
In this role, you will own end-to-end financial accounting operations for DPI Spain (supporting DPI China's Finance Manager). Success here means delivering accurate, timely financial insights to leadership, streamlining Spain's regional accounting processes, and ensuring full compliance with local & internal standards — all while growing toward a Financial Manager role that leads DPI Spain's regional finance operations.
Responsibilities
Manage daily financial accounting activities for DPI Spain (supporting DPI China's Finance Manager)
Oversee accounting operations (including customer credit control) and monitor the accuracy of financial systems
Lead month-end closing processes and deliver timely, precise financial reports to organizational leadership
Develop standardized accounting workflows, plus prepare cash flow forecasts and annual budgets
Ensure adherence to local tax regulations, DPI internal controls, and audit requirements
Liaise with banks & auditors, manage payroll/labor contracts, and collaborate with DPI China teams on ad-hoc projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Audit; CPA/ACCA certification is preferred
5+ years of finance experience (multinational corporation experience is a plus)
Working knowledge of PRC and IFRS accounting standards
Proactive, detail-oriented mindset; ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple concurrent tasks
Fluent in written and spoken English (proficiency in Chinese is a bonus)
Strong analytical & logical skills; collaborative team player
Proficient in MS Office; prior experience with SAP is preferred
