Job Summary
The Boiler/Wastewater Operator is responsible for operating the boiler and associated processes, as well as the wastewater treatment system.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Start and shut down boilers.
Operate wastewater and air pollution control systems.
Monitor feed water, boiler water, water softener, and water treatment unit.
Add chemicals on a daily basis.
Perform daily greasing and oiling.
Ensure equipment and work area remain clean after each shift.
Maintain safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
Use mechanical knowledge and ability to cut and weld as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3 years prior experience in boiler operation and/or rendering facility.
Seniority Level Mid-Senior level
