SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

One of the most ambitious missions that SpaceX has undertaken to date, the Starlink network is our solution to providing reliable Internet to the entire world. We are looking for a talented operations analyst to help design processes and systems for a factory that will output millions of user terminals (a SpaceX-designed and manufactured product that consumers will have in their homes to access our network).

The success of Starlink depends on the quality, reliability, cost, manufacturability, throughput, and security of the products that we deliver. If you seek a fast‑paced, dynamic environment; if you thrive on solving difficult problems where resolutions have a high impact; and if you love the challenge of building something from scratch, then this role will be an ideal next career step.

Act as subject matter expert in multiple Starlink production processes and systems, enabling complex data gathering, troubleshooting, and problem solving

Own data integrity, tool maintenance, and reporting quality for the production strategy, operations, and planning team

Develop and improve data inputs for demand signals, machine utilization, and general production prioritization

Analyze and determine insights from trends and operating metrics to inform critical department strategy and targets

Define and develop department‑level metrics and associated dashboards that quantify the health of our operation and influence change

Train internal users and leaders on dashboard and tool usage, assist in troubleshooting

Improve data capture for future Starlink Factory use cases, identifying requirements and collaborating with software development teams on development

Produce data visualizations using software tools such as Grafana and PowerBI

Produce complex ad‑hoc queries and reports to steer the production organization

Design, develop, and debug new tools to best fit the needs of a fast‑paced growth

Support new line bring‑up, continuous improvement, and larger cross‑functional strategic initiatives

Integrate with all levels of the business to understand current workflows and identify systematic gaps; help rapidly answer tactical business questions through analytical frameworks

Develop automation that creates efficiencies within Starlink Factory operations and across functions

Consistently contribute effort, leadership, and creative thinking to solving complex problems in a collaborative fashion and under tight deadlines
