Market Data Analyst
Location: Wichita, KS
About the role KaES is seeking a Market Data Analyst to join our team in Wichita, KS. The primary responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, negotiating enterprise market data contracts and subscriptions, and procuring services to support internal Koch employees through subscription management. This role involves handling both new vendor contracts and renewals of existing contracts, ranging in value from $10,000 to $1 million annually.
What you will do
Facilitate and negotiate contract renewals supporting business groups across all Koch entities
Work with vendors to build relationships while advocating to achieve the best outcomes for Koch and its user groups
Serve as the internal client point of contact for Koch employees and communicate with end‑users across the Koch enterprise worldwide to meet data and subscription needs in a timely and organized fashion
Promote KAES's market data capability and find opportunities within Koch to expand the use of valuable data sources, tools, and platforms, while maintaining internal relationships with data users
Act as the liaison between KAES and other Koch companies concerning inter‑company agreements
Deliver accurate and timely customer support and issue resolution in the data and subscription space
Partner with customers and IT resources to acquire and distribute data sources
Effectively communicate status updates, issues and details both internally and externally
Analyze, understand, and create subscription cost reports as they relate to a contract, service, and/or employee
Ensure compliance with existing licensing requirements by managing user permissions and ensuring legal contractual compliance
Participate in and drive projects and department initiatives to implement process improvements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related discipline OR 2+ years of professional work experience
Proficient experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote)
Ability to travel occasionally, up to 5%

Experience with negotiating medium to large size IT, Data, or Service Contracts
A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in procurement, contracting, market data, commodities trading, or a related business role
Experience with inventory tracking and contracting tools, specifically Market Data Tracking Software
Experience with databases, business visualization tools and Office 365 productivity applications (Python, PyCharm, SQL, Power BI, Flow, Teams)
Basic understanding of cost reporting
