Job Title: Senior .NET Developer (Healthcare Domain)
Position Overview We’re seeking a Senior .NET Developer with strong hands-on experience in C# —The Health Plan—on a remote, long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, along with proven experience working in healthcare or medical insurance environments.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain .NET.
Enhance, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop APIs, web services, and data integrations with third-party healthcare systems.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data standards.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment cycles.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the application and database layers.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of professional experience in software development.
Strong programming skills in C# , and .NET Framework/Core .
Hands-on experience with SQL Server , stored procedures , and data optimization .
Prior work experience in medical insurance, healthcare claims, or provider systems is mandatory .
Experience with web API , RESTful services , and JSON/XML integrations .
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-Have
Knowledge of HL7, EDI, or HIPAA compliance systems .
Experience with Azure or cloud-based deployments .
Understanding of frontend frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus.
