Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.

Demonstrated ability to create and maintain web and social media presence.

Minimum of two years of administrative support experience in higher education or related field.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting professional correspondence.

Experience working in a higher education environment, with familiarity with university systems and organizational structure.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Experience with event planning.

Job DescriptionThis position is grant funded and will support the operation of the Center of Research Excellence in Science and Technology ( CREST ) grant.

Job Duties

Maintain and update web and social media accounts associated with the program

Deliver excellent customer service by answering and screening incoming calls, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries from staff, faculty, students, and guests with accurate information.

Prepare, compose, type, and proofread accurate and timely reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, and other required documents.

Maintain and review files for completeness and compliance.

Monitor deadlines for assignments and projects to ensure timely completion.

Submit purchasing requests, monitor receiving, and confirm delivery for grant related purposes.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the office and organizational objectives.
