Intertek's project‑related assurance, testing, inspection and consulting services are the risk management and quality assurance partner you need to ensure the reliability, safety and performance of your new developments, existing assets and facilities. What you’ll do
Perform environmental services including Phase I and II environmental site assessments (ESAs)
Perform soil and groundwater sampling
Assist in assessment and remediation and field observation documentation
Perform industrial hygiene services to include performing asbestos, indoor air quality, and lead surveys
Prepare technical proposal and reports
Communicate with clients and regulators to keep projects moving and on schedule
Self‑manage and make decisions during all phases of a project
Manage and control project budgets and build solid relationships with clients

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum BS in Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering, Geology, or related field
4+ years of proven technical environmental consulting experience
Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities
Detail‑oriented, team player with excellent communication, analytical, and organization skills, and time and budget management skills
Computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one’s discipline
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications
Current lead and asbestos (KS, MO, NE, AR) certification.
Outboard boat operation and boat trailering experience.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently
Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication (hearing) and to distinguish sounds
Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)
Ability to climb occasionally
