Mahomet‑Seymour CUSD #3 seeks a Junior High English Teacher ready to inspire a love of reading and writing while supporting the academic and social‑emotional growth of all students. The position is full‑time, starting with the 2026‑2027 school year. Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate English/Language Arts endorsement Knowledge of best practices in middle school English instruction Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues Salary and Benefits

Our existing 4‑year collective bargaining agreement will expire at the end of the 2025‑2026 school year, and we will negotiate a new agreement that will begin with the 2026‑2027 school year.
