SENIOR COOK (FULL TIME)
Compass Group USA is hiring a Senior Cook full time for the Saint Marks High School (2501 Pike Creek Road, Wilmington, DE 19808). Position is full‑time Monday‑Friday, hours may vary.
Salary:
$23.00–$25.00 per hour.
Experience:
Management background required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
May oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
Operate and clean equipment after each use; perform scheduled routine cleaning.
Store, label and date food items according to policy; maintain organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated and frozen products.
Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety.
Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and complete all required documentation, reports and logs.
Assist in cross‑training of employees.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience with management background required.
Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
