Outpatient Therapist (Independent Contractor)
Devereux has an exciting opportunity to become an Outpatient Therapist with our Florida Counseling Center. This is an Independent Contractor position. Devereux offers an independent contract option for this Therapist role, which is ideal for both licensed and non‑licensed clinicians. Our programs offer free supervision hours for licensure and flexible schedules for everyone.
Location Schools in Volusia County – Daytona, FL. This hybrid role involves in‑person visits to schools and virtual work with the local community, CBCs, and DCF for referrals. The position requires traveling throughout Volusia County.
Responsibilities
Conduct therapy sessions and participate in the development of the individualized master treatment plan.
Provide individual, family, and group counseling.
Complete required clinical documentation.
Work within a multidisciplinary team to review the client’s treatment, goals, progress, and future needs.
Qualifications
Must be license‑eligible in the state of Florida.
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology.
Must be available during business hours for training and meetings with a supervisor, and after‑school hours to accommodate school‑aged clients.
Successfully complete background and medical screenings: Drug Test and TB Test.
Other
Free supervision hours for LMHC, LMFT or LCSW licensure.
Zero‑tolerance policy for abuse with policies and procedures to reduce risk.
Drug‑free workplace; drug screening required.
Role is not eligible for benefits.
