Inventory Control / Shipping Specialist Job Duties:
Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory records
Oversee a small team of employees
Conduct regular inventory counts and audits
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Coordinate with purchasing, receiving, and warehouse staff
Perform shipping duties
Enter and update inventory data in inventory management systems
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory
Prepare inventory reports and documentation
Support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Follow company safety policies and procedures
Inventory Control / Shipping Specialist Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous managerial experience
1–3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or related experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software preferred
Ability to analyze data and solve problems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
