About the Role Fluxergy is seeking two experienced Assembly Technicians to support the build of our next-generation in vitro diagnostic (IVD) instrumentation. In this temporary, onsite role, you will assemble complex electro‑mechanical and electro‑optical systems, perform in‑process testing, and complete required documentation in accordance with medical device quality standards. This position is ideal for technicians who thrive in regulated environments and enjoy working on sophisticated, high‑impact products.
What You Will Do
Assemble complex subassemblies and integrate them into final IVD diagnostic systems
Build electro‑mechanical and electro‑optical assemblies with a high level of precision
Perform soldering of fine connections and program PCBAs using established procedures
Conduct in‑process inspections and testing using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calipers
Handle ESD‑sensitive components in accordance with best practices
Read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions and assembly documentation
Complete accurate build records and documentation in compliance with medical device and company quality standards
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to address build issues, non‑conformances, or unusual assembly scenarios
Support continuous improvement efforts related to assembly processes and documentation
What You Will Need to Have
5+ years of hands‑on experience assembling complex products made up of multiple subsystems
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, diagnostics, aerospace, or similar)
Prior experience in an ISO‑certified manufacturing environment
Proficiency assembling electro‑mechanical and electro‑optical components
Strong soldering skills, including fine‑pitch or delicate connections
Experience programming PCBAs using a defined, documented process
Familiarity with ESD‑sensitive components and proper handling procedures
Experience using test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calipers
Ability to read, understand, and strictly follow complex work instructions and procedures
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and documentation accuracy
Ability to work 1st shift schedule (06:30AM – 03:00PM), Monday through Friday
Strong Plus Qualifications
Experience working on FDA‑regulated products
Experience partnering with R&D teams to finalize work instructions or resolve non‑conformances
