Aviation Mechanic I
to support Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. Active Secret Clearance is required for Atlantic City, NJ location. Responsibilities
Extensive hands‑on experience with aircraft systems, components, and complex assemblies, including troubleshooting, rigging, and functional testing to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including heavy maintenance. Strong knowledge of integrated aircraft systems (e.g., fuel, hydraulic, flight controls, engines, landing gear, airframe, and control surfaces) to perform pre‑flight, thru‑flight and post‑flight inspections IAW applicable technical publications Proficient in reading and applying technical manuals, drawings, blueprints, and OEM documentation Skilled in the use of standard and specialized aircraft maintenance tools, test equipment, and instrumentation Experience with aircraft maintenance, structural repair, upgrades, and aging aircraft sustainment Familiarity with supply, requisition, and technical publication systems; experience researching maintenance data (e.g., ATIP, ALMIS preferred) Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces, elevated platforms, and lifting moderate weights Knowledge of aviation safety practices, HAZMAT procedures, and proper use of PPE when working with regulated materials Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance or Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (Atlantic City ONLY) Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a successful background check with the Department of Homeland Security. Three (3) years’ experience as a licensed A&P mechanic, with at least two (2) years’ experience working on rotorcraft similar to the H-65. Five (5) years of experience as a licensed A&P mechanic is desired but not required. Alliance Global Group is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
