Job Description As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate delivery of care. You are accountable for direct patient care and for supervising the care provided by professional and ancillary personnel. You will assess and plan educational needs of patients and families to support maintenance or restoration of health status at discharge. You will implement the nursing plan, coordinate with the medical plan, and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Professionalism is demonstrated by quality of care, leadership, and continued professional growth and development. You will participate in quality assurance endeavors and process improvement initiatives with the nursing team. RNs may be requested to float to other departments as patient needs dictate.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed in the State of Washington
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card (maintenance required)
ACLS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
TNCC within 12 months of hire (maintenance required every three years)
PALS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
Preferred
One to two years of previous clinical experience in an appropriate nursing area
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
PEARS certification
Additional Information Wage range: $41.39 – $75.91 per hour, based on experience. FTE: .15 (12 hours biweekly). This position is not benefits eligible. Union status: WSNA Union covered.
