Role Description This is an on‑site role for a Ski Patrol team member at Granite Gorge Mountain Park, located in Roxbury, NH. The Ski Patrol team is responsible for ensuring the safety and well‑being of guests by patrolling the slopes, assisting injured individuals, and maintaining a safe skiing and snowboarding environment. Additional responsibilities include responding to emergency situations, securing hazard areas, performing risk assessments, and providing excellent customer service to visitors.
Qualifications
Experience in emergency response, EMT/OEC, first aid, and CPR, with certifications preferred or willingness to obtain them.
Strong skiing and/or snowboarding skills, with the ability to navigate various terrains and weather conditions effectively.
Ability to assess risks, communicate safety measures, and respond calmly under pressure in emergencies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with team members and interact professionally with guests.
Physical fitness and stamina to perform strenuous outdoor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and navigating rugged terrain.
Desire to work in a dynamic, outdoor, and fast‑paced environment, with a passion for ensuring guest safety and a positive experience.
Prior experience in similar roles and knowledge of ski area operations are advantageous.
