We need an engineering leader with deep expertise in navigation, guidance, and flight controls software to oversee the development of key components for our delivery drones.

Key Job Responsibilities
Lead multiple teams (manager of managers) of research and applied scientists, flight controls and embedded software engineers.
Manage and develop employees, including hiring, retention, performance management, mentoring, and skill development.
Lead architecture, design, implementation, and operational support of key components on Prime Air delivery drones.
Act as point of contact for communications on project deliverables, setting expectations, managing priorities, technologies, and management issues.
Establish high standards for processes and standards in all projects.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of engineering experience.
5+ years of engineering team management experience.
10+ years of planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and teams in an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience partnering with product and program management teams.
Experience designing and developing large‑scale, high‑traffic applications.
Compensation The base pay ranges from $165,500 to $286,000 per year depending on location. Additional compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits.
