Lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy. Responsibilities

Coordinate, facilitate, and provide risk management for large‑scale multi‑discipline and multi‑benefit projects with high technical complexity. Build and maintain client and area business class relationships; participate in project development and contract document preparation. Mentor mid‑ and junior‑level staff across a variety of disciplines to facilitate growth and quality project delivery. Oversee planning, design, inspection, and construction management of interior drainage, riverine flood risk management, dams, reservoirs, ecosystem restoration, and general site civil infrastructure. Coordinate with HDR’s other regional and corporate business class technical leads and advisors; reinforce the Quality Management Program (QMP) and participate in staff training. Participate in corporate management of the DLCWs program; review work scopes, products, go/no‑go decisions, SOWs, contracts, and project pricing. Preferred Qualifications

MS in civil, environmental, or water resources engineering preferred. Fifteen (15) years related experience. Experience as a task lead and/or project manager in a consulting business preferred. Strong technical writing, engineering background, and presentation skills necessary. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field. 10 years experience in related field. Maintains professional or engineering registration with related technical experience. Experienced in development and management of diverse teams. Cooperatively works with other business class regional directors, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers. Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values. Active participation in employee‑owned culture required. Locations
