SMRMC PRN 1207-Ultrasound Tech-7044 Radiology Under the general supervision of the Director of Radiology, the technologist operates imaging equipment to safely produce diagnostic images of various anatomical body parts for evaluation and interpretation by the radiologist. Must work and relate in a professional, non‑defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors. The technologist is expected to function within the scope of approved policies, procedures, and regulations for the Radiology Department and SMRMC Health Systems. Must assist with orientation, preceptorship, and management of personnel assigned to unit. As determined by the Director of Radiology, the technologist will be assigned either 80 hours per pay period or PRN hours and must work rotating shifts and on‑call hours. Attendance to yearly mandatory education requirements is non‑negotiable and the responsibility of the technologist/employee to arrange and attend sessions.
