Many people think skilled nursing facilities are only for end‑of‑life care, but that's a misconception. Our therapists work every day to
help residents recover from surgeries, regain strength after illness, prevent falls, and stay independent in their daily lives.
The goal is not just care; it's
restoring function and improving quality of life.
Supporting patients on their journey back home to a full and active life is
truly a rewarding and fulfilling career.
The Therapy Department at Nella's at Autumn Lake Healthcare is looking for a
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
to fill a
full‑time
position. You'll be part of our esteemed skilled nursing facility, providing outstanding and individualized care. Sorry, this is not a CF position.
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. You will develop and implement effective treatment programs and establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment. The SLP will provide counsel to patients and patients' families, as well as create accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits. If you are an SLP who likes being part of a team, is looking for comprehensive training, ongoing education and the ability to be involved in your team's decisions, then we would love to speak with you!
Qualifications
An active state Speech Language Pathologist license is required.
Unlimited employee referral bonus, up to $1,000 each.
Multiple locations offered, but optional, for PRN coverage; potential full‑time opportunity at additional locations.
This is a direct hire position; we are not an agency.

Benefits Full‑time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) supported by a comprehensive benefits program including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision coverage, 401(k), annual review, unlimited referral program, CEU reimbursement, parental leave, disability insurance, opportunities for advancement, and more!
Frequently Asked Questions Am I guaranteed 40 hours? While we cannot guarantee hours, we are typically able to offer a full caseload. Majority of our facilities are in close proximity, allowing us to offer you additional hours at nearby locations.
Do you give raises? Staff are eligible for performance reviews, where there is always an opportunity for an increase.
Why is this position open? What's great about our field is its variety of practice areas. Therapists/DORs that leave our company, mostly do so to pursue other practice specialties. While many stay PRN with us, we rarely see our therapists joining a competing SNF.
How does corporate support the therapists on the floors? Majority of our Regional Directors, as well as many corporate members, are therapists themselves. All of our Directors understand how hard it is to meet the ever‑changing demands of Medicare and insurance guidelines. They are all actively present in the facilities, collaborating directly with each team member to ensure you have a well‑supported work environment.
What type of mentorship or support do you provide for new grads? We offer a comprehensive mentorship program to support new grads from day one. You'll be paired with an experienced therapist who will guide you through documentation, evaluations, treatment methods, and more. Our approach is tailored to your learning style, and as you gain confidence and begin working independently, your mentor and our clinical team will continue to provide support whenever needed.
Our Therapy Management Company Ultimate Therapy LLC is dedicated to connecting talented Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) with rewarding career opportunities across our skilled nursing facilities. Our mission is to empower SLPs to thrive in their profession by matching them with positions that align with their skills, expertise, and aspirations. As a direct hire company, we seek top‑tier SLP candidates and place them in positions where they can make a meaningful impact on patient care and rehabilitation outcomes. Whether you're a seasoned SLP looking for new challenges, or a recent graduate eager to launch your career, our company is here to support you every step of the way. Trust us to be your partner in finding the perfect ultimate SNF facility for your skills and expertise as an SLP.
