This is a full-time, on-site position based in Norfolk, VA, for a Primary Therapist. The Primary Therapist will deliver direct care to clients, providing clinical assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and conducting individual therapy sessions. Additional responsibilities include supporting clients with case management, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, addressing dual diagnoses, and fostering ongoing communication with families and referral sources. Candidates will be expected to provide compassionate support to clients through all phases of recovery while maintaining a high standard of professional ethics and confidentiality. Responsibilities

Deliver direct care to clients, providing clinical assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans. Conduct individual therapy sessions. Support clients with case management and multidisciplinary collaboration. Address dual diagnoses and maintain professional ethics and confidentiality. Qualifications

Comprehensive experience in Treatment Planning and Case Management. Proficiency in Social Work practices and client-focused therapy techniques. Knowledge and experience in Chemical Dependency treatment and substance use disorder recovery frameworks. Expertise in managing and supporting clients with Dual Diagnosis conditions. Strong ethical standards, excellent communication skills, and an empathetic approach to client care. Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, with corresponding licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) preferred. Prior experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health settings is a strong advantage. Job Details
