General Summary
Performs physical examinations of patients; evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic urologic conditions, also including urologic oncology within the clinic and hospital setting.
Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.
Monitors the patient's course of treatment and makes appropriate referrals to physicians or specialists as needed.
Collaborates with physicians and staff as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff.
Displays a caring and professional attitude at all times and maintains personal and professional growth.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public.
Schedule Details
Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Campus: AdventHealth Winter Garden (required).
Education/Experience
Master's degree in Nursing (APRN) with First Assist certification or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) studies.
Urology experience preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and Registration
Current, valid Florida PA or APRN license.
Certification by NCCPA, ANCC, or equivalent.
First Assist certification (APRN).
BLS & ACLS.
Hospital Description AdventHealth Winter Garden, a part of AdventHealth Orlando, opened in 2016 as a state‑of‑the‑art emergency facility featuring board‑certified physicians trained in the care of both adults and children. AdventHealth Winter Garden opened its new inpatient tower in May 2022, a $229.5 million expansion that brings critical services to the fast‑growing West Orange community. The new tower provides 80 private rooms and space for new services, including orthopedics, advanced gynecology, cardiology, gastroenterology, general and robotic surgery, neurology, spine health, colorectal and urology.
