District and Community Overview East Grand Forks, MN, is a city with a population of approximately 9,000, located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota. It borders Grand Forks, ND, and is very close to the University of North Dakota and Northland Community and Technical College. The district’s K-12 enrollment is approximately 1,950 students, as well as a thriving preschool program. The district has four separate school buildings housing grades PreK-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The district also boasts a thriving Preschool Program and lifelong learning opportunities through Community Education.

Terms 2025-2026 Season Compensation will be per the EGFEA Master Work Agreement Salary Range: $1,550 – $2,000 (Contract is under negotiation)

Reporting Relationship The Assistant Robotics Coach reports directly to the Head Coach and Activities Director.

Basic Function of the Position The Assistant Robotics Coach must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of robotics.

Job Summary East Grand Forks Public Schools is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Assistant Robotics Coach to support our high school robotics program. The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of team development, including mentoring students in engineering, programming, and problem-solving while promoting a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented culture. The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach during practices, competitions, and events, ensuring alignment with competition rules and district expectations. Responsibilities include helping facilitate daily build sessions, guiding students through the engineering design process, and encouraging collaboration and critical thinking.
