Banquet Server / Bartender / Set‑Up Attendant
Overview
Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is hiring experienced banquet staff for the upcoming season.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional service at catered events. Relay orders to kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and service bars. Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service. Observe diners to respond to additional requests and determine when a meal has been completed. Serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Set‑Up Attendant Duties
Maintain organization of banquet storage areas. Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water. Break down all meeting rooms after meetings have concluded so the room will be available for the next function. Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform other duties as assigned. This position requires considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift for room set up and break down with or without reasonable accommodations.
Requirements
Excellent service orientation. 6 months of prior experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant or country club. Excellent communication and service skills. Previous experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant or country club preferred.
