We are seeking an experienced
Banquet Manager
to join our team and play a pivotal role in fostering a positive, productive workplace while helping us deliver exceptional events and experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Banquet team, including hiring, training, coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Oversee and support Banquet Captains, Servers, Bartenders, Housemen with daily operations.
Manage event setup, execution, and breakdown; ensure quality and cleanliness throughout.
Handle alcohol ordering and inventory for Banquets, Coffee Shop, and Lobby Bar; update pricing and maintain records.
Conduct monthly inventories for ordering and cost control.
Monitor payroll, labor costs, and timekeeping for Banquet staff.
Track and maintain banquet service ware inventory.
Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, health department, OSHA, and ABC regulations.
Drive banquet profitability through revenue generation and cost management.
Collaborate with other departments, especially Sales and Conference Services.
Verify staff uniforms and appearance before each event.
Monitor food quality, presentation, and safety standards during events.
Support the Director of Food & Beverage in other outlets when needed.
Availability for nights, weekends, and flexible shifts as required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience
At least 4 years of related Food and Beverage management experience and 6 years of Banquet experience; or at least 8 years of hotel/ restaurant supervisory experience.
Must maintain active ServSafe and TIPS certifications.
