Senior Helpers is currently seeking a dedicated

Scheduling Coordinator

to join our team in our Murrells Inlet office.

This role sits at the heart of what we do. As a member of the Senior Helpers scheduling team, you will help ensure that compassionate, dependable care reaches seniors in their homes—on time, every time. Your work directly supports our clients, their families, and the caregivers who show up daily to make a meaningful difference.

What You’ll Do Working under the guidance of the Lead Scheduler, and in collaboration with the Director of Nursing when appropriate, you will:

Coordinate and schedule caregivers for new and existing clients based on assessments and individualized care plans

Maintain accurate, complete schedules, ensuring coverage for at least the next two business days and weekends

Respond calmly and effectively to scheduling changes, emergencies, and call-outs as they arise

Track and document assignment refusals, call-outs, late arrivals, and early departures within scheduling software, sharing insights with leadership

Balance client needs, caregiver availability, and business priorities to maintain appropriate gross profit margins

Participate in on-call scheduling responsibilities, averaging two weeks per month (additional compensation provided)

What We’re Looking For

At least one year of experience in staffing, recruiting, or scheduling

Professional background in customer service, with a calm and respectful communication style

Familiarity with healthcare staffing or similar service-based environments

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively when challenges arise

Comfort managing multiple phone lines and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting

A collaborative, dependable team player who can also work independently with confidence and care
