**Pay: $23–$26/hr**
**Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40–45 hrs/week | Weekends as needed**Waste Connections, Inc. is actively hiring **versatile Heavy Equipment Operators** to join our team at Sun Country Materials Landfill in Riverview, FL. This role offers the opportunity to **travel throughout Florida** as needed and work in a stable, year-round environment.We’re looking for operators who thrive in a culture of **operational excellence, safety, and accountability**.### **Position Overview:**You’ll be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment to support landfill operations, including:*
Compacting and spreading trash using a compactor*
Spreading daily cover with a dozer and scraper*
Excavating soil with an excavator*
