Radiologic Technologist (Part Time)

The Orthopedic & Sports Institute (OSI) is seeking a Radiology Technologist. The successful candidate will x-ray patients and assist providers with patients in clinic. This is a part time position with the ability to travel to all of our locations. Hours will be between 7:30am and 5:00pm.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures that include clinic, surgery cases, post op x-rays and injections under fluoroscopy or aspirations
Room patients and take a history
Assist with medical care of patients
Communications with patient both in person and via telephone.
Perform other selected medical assistant and administrative duties as requested
Perform a variety of technical tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment, CR/DR/Portable DR
Adjust equipment for proper exposure in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures, while using immobilization and protective devices as required
Use Hoyer lift
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Caring, compassionate spirit
Can-do, will-do work ethic
Upbeat, positive attitude
Good computer skills
Qualification
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology
AART Registered
Must possess independent decision making skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
Some travel may be required to outlying clinics
Flexibility to work additional hours when needed
