Hood Distribution is looking for a Warehouse Associate/Back‑Up Driver (Class A) at the Columbus, OH facility. Hood Distribution is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber, plywood, moldings and related wood products whose customers include cabinet shops, millwork houses, retail lumber yards and similar businesses.

When working in the warehouse, you are responsible for supporting all warehouse operations by receiving, sorting, loading and unloading products.

Candidates wishing to be considered for the CDL Truck Drivers position must possess a Valid State’s CDL Class A Driver’s License and have a clear driving record.

Job Responsibilities

Work with minimal supervision

Load and unload trailers with a forklift

Additional duties may be assigned as needed

This role entails 75% of the candidate’s time to be spent in the warehouse

25% of the candidate’s time will be spent driving our trucks, making local deliveries to customers

Qualifications

Must have good math skills and read a tape measure

Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs

Forklift experience

1 year of machine operation (Preferred)

1 year of warehouse operations experience (Preferred)

1 year of warehouse distribution experience (Preferred)

Valid Driver license (Required)

Knowledge of lumber and/or plywood is preferred

Pay Range $21.00 - $24.00
