About the Position

The Clinical Supervisor (LCSW/LMFT) will support the program and case managers by ensuring the quality of clinical service is maintained through individual and group supervision techniques. The role involves ensuring bi‑weekly clinical file reviews, establishing professional development goals, maintaining accurate clinical records, liaising with DHS, the Office of Diversion and Reentry (ODR) and community providers, facilitating ICMS and psychosocial needs, and providing in‑person and telephone crisis emergency response. This position works from the Los Angeles location and provides services in the field to participants in homes, shelters, on the streets, DHS facilities or elsewhere in Los Angeles County. What You Will Do

Function as a liaison between Amity and the Office of Diversion and Reentry to reduce system‑level barriers and align clinical strategies with Amity’s integrated services. Provide direct clinical supervision and support to case managers and their clients. Provide clinical crisis interventions with clients and their treatment team. Develop and deliver in‑service clinical training that meets licensure standards and clinical needs. Consult with clients, case managers, Project Directors, and ODR/HFH regarding clinical concerns linked to payment issues for additional mental‑health services in PSH. Notify the Project Director and Clinical Director of political, financial, clinical, or liability issues and recommend procedural changes. Offer consultation and support to staff, being available for case‑manager debriefs on difficult situations. Inform the Project Director of reports involving alleged maltreatment by staff, students, or volunteers. Coordinate effective services collaboratively, review incident reports, and implement preventive changes. Review reports of suspected abuse or neglect of vulnerable adults or minors and enforce appropriate actions. Provide backup clinical care to clients when assigned case managers are unavailable. Plan and schedule case‑manager workload assignments, adjust project priorities, and prepare completion schedules. Provide consultation on clinical and administrative issues to other resources as requested. Provide after‑hours on‑call supervision of program-wide clinical services. Participate in internal and external committees and management meetings. Perform other related duties as assigned. What You Will Bring

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Extensive knowledge of non‑profit organizations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Education and Experience

Required:

Master’s degree in behavioral science, social work, or a related field. Supervisory experience, leadership experience, and team development. Knowledge of administering assessments, substance abuse counseling, reentry services, clinical crisis management, and case management with culturally diverse populations. Experience in crisis intervention, hospitalization, psychiatry, and mental‑health diagnosis. Preferred:

Previous clinical experience working with individuals recently released from jail or prison. Certifications or Licenses

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Valid driver’s license and vehicle registration. What We Bring
