Role Overview
As an HR Generalist, you'll support core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and employee relations. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and the leadership team. Our client is located in the Tualatin metro area.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Manage recruitment lifecycle: posting roles, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and extending offers.
Lead new hire onboarding: orientations, paperwork, HRIS data entry, and exit interviews.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
Advise employees and managers on HR policies and address concerns.
Support performance review processes and follow-up coaching sessions.
Benefits & Compensation
Administer benefits programs (enrollment, qualifying life events, vendor coordination).
Support compensation reviews and salary planning.
HR Compliance & Recordkeeping
Maintain employee files and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO).
Training & Development
Coordinate training initiatives and development programs.
Help plan and execute employee engagement and wellness activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
2-5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally as a generalist or coordinator.
Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance.
Proficiency with HRIS
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
High level of confidentiality and integrity.
Salary
$60-70K (DOE) + Benefits
