Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. Our staff consists of locals, transplants, seasonal workers from all 50 states and international students from around the globe. PURPOSE OF POSITION:
A Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the restaurant back of the house area.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, clean, and restock flatware, china, glassware, and all other operating equipment
Load and operate the Champion dish machine and pot and pan machine
Clean walls and floors, clean and organize shelving, empty trash containers, keep handwash stations stocked with soap and paper towels, and stock kitchen areas with gloves
Perform scheduled cleaning of hoods, walk-ins, ovens, grills, drains, hand sinks, kettles, tilt skillet, etc.
Ensure dock area is clean and organized
Put boxes in the bailer and check the trash compactor often
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior restaurant experience preferred
Must be able to lift and carry 25-50 lbs
Able to stand for long periods of time and work in hot, humid conditions

PAY RATE:
Pay: $21.00 per hour
